Proposal details

The purpose of this formal application is to create a new lot for recreational use. The severed lot will have a frontage of 401m, a depth of 565m, and an area of 25.67ha. The retained lot will have a frontage of 145m, a depth of 160m, and an area of 1.7ha. The subject lands are within the Clearwater Bay Restricted Area Order. Both lots are currently developed with resource-based recreational dwellings and are privately serviced with well and septic. The lands are accessed by Inglis Lake Road, which is accessed from Hwy 17 and maintained by the Inglis Lake Local Roads Board. The subject lands are approximately 19km away from the City of Kenora.

The effect of creating this new lot would be to allow for existing uses being resource-based recreational use, to remain in place while having separate title to the properties, to allow for the properties to be transferrable in the future.

During the public consultation period, the government contact may also be reached at 1-807-631-4954 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday to Friday.

Pursuant to Planning Act requirements, a public notice will be published in a local paper.
