EPC Management Inc. - Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage)

This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval application for a proposed new truck stop development on a property located in Summerstown, at 6371 County Road 27, Township of South Glengarry, Ontario, to establish sewage works for the collection, treatment, and surface disposal of up to 141.8 cubic metres of sewage per day.

The project includes two phases:

• phase one of the proposed development will include the construction of a convenience store with a take-out restaurant and a comfort station, eight truck fueling stations, a truck auto-wash, a truck scale, a truck workshop, and a cross-docking facility
• phase two of the proposed development will include a restaurant building accommodating six restaurants, a single-restaurant building, and 12 car fueling stations

An improved treatment technology system, MBR (Membrane Bio-Reactor), will be utilized to treat the combined wastewater from all the establishments mentioned above.
