This proposal is for an amendment to the Limited Operational Flexibility for the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. A-500-4243319369 for 2419787 Ontario Inc., operating a hydrovac soil processing facility, located in the community of Carp in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.
The emission sources from the manufacturing and associated processes that discharge to the air include material transfer of liquid soil and dry soil handling operations.
The amendment includes increasing the daily liquid soil receiving rate to 500 cubic meters per day and updated hours of operation at the facility.
Emissions to the air from this facility include particulate matter.
The Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise), when issued, permits modifications to the facility subject to limits on operational flexibility that include a production limit for the facility to be specified on the Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility (air & noise). The Limited Operational Flexibility conditions have an expiry date. The company will be required to make an application for amendment at that time to renew these conditions.
