This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 5548-8T9KSF issued to Hydro Extrusion Canada Inc. (previously known as SAPA Canada Inc.), a manufacturer of aluminum billets through secondary aluminum production at a facility located at 7 Alloy Court, Toronto, Ontario.
This amendment is for increasing the production capacity from 69,350 tonnes per year to 89,000 tonnes per year and adding a homogenizing furnace.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- dioxins and furans
- nitrogen oxides
- hydrogen chloride
- aluminum
- nickel
- lead
- chromium
- particulate matter
