This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Stubbe's Aggregates Inc. for the operation of a portable crushing plant equipped with one crusher, screener, conveyors, and one diesel-fired engine. The equipment will be used for crushing and screening recycled concrete and mixed stone/gravel throughout the Province of Ontario and can potentially operate 24 hours per day on any given day of the week.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- respirable crystalline (quartz)
- particulate matter
- nitrogen oxides
- sulphur dioxide, and
- carbon monoxide
