This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval application for Camp Horizon Inc., located at 252 Muskosung Lake Road, near Lake Muskosung, Municipality of West Nipissing, Ontario.
The proposed sewage works will service 10 cabins, four Recreational Vehicles, one Park Model Unit, and an office/ storefront, with a calculated daily design sewage flow of 14,585 litres per day.
The project includes the installation of a new centralized onsite sewage system designed to provide tertiary treatment and long-term wastewater disposal for the property. The system will include two septic tanks installed in series, a concrete dosing tank equipped with two pumps, and six open-bottom Ecoflo Biofilters designed to provide Level IV treatment. Treated effluent will then be discharged to a Type A dispersal bed constructed with septic stone and approved system sand.
