This proposal is for an amendment to existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 2163-7P4HTB as a result of recent changes to the current operations and infrastructure associated with the treatment of industrial process wastewater for the facility located at 547 Wallace Terrace, in the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
The proposed changes to the ECA include the removal of the Mill #1 Oil Water Separator as it is no longer in operation, to reduce the number of polymer feeds from two to one; and the removal of the third oil skimmer at the Mill #2 scale pit oil skimmer.
