This proposal is to amend the Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 0000000442 for JAMIESON LABORATORIES LTD. for the operation of a pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing, located in the City of Windsor, Ontario.

This application is to include facility upgrades such as:

an additional dust collector for their packaging operations, two vacuum dust collection systems and additional natural gas-fired heating equipment, as well as removal of some of the prior approved dust collectors and natural gas-fired combustion equipment.

The sources at the facility include eight dust collectors, nine laboratory fume hoods, two emergency generators, and various natural gas-fired heating units.

Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:

  • acetonitrile
  • ammonium sulfide
  • chloroform
  • ethyl ether
  • hexane
  • hydrochloric acid
  • nitrogen oxides
