Proposal details
This proposal is for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) for Miller Paving Limited for the operation of a mobile hot-mix asphalt facility equipped with one drum mix type hot-mix asphalt plant.
The equipment will be used to produce hot-mix asphalt throughout the Province of Ontario and can potentially operate 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, from May to November.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include:
- particulate matter
- respirable crystalline silica
- benzo(a)pyrene [B(a)P]
- benzene
- nitrogen oxides
- sulfur dioxide
- arsenic
- lead, and
- nickel
