This proposal is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 9822-89ASCY issued to Harlin Plating Inc. a manufacturer of hard-chrome plating services of steel articles for a variety of clients in multiple industries at a facility located in Bolton.
This amendment is for following the exclusion of Chromium (VI) from the dispersion modelling assessment due to the Facility being exempt from air dispersion modelling requirements which are now managed strictly under the technical and operational frameworks of the industry standard. This application is for the dry scrubber air pollution control unit and natural gas comfort heating units.
Contaminant emissions to the atmosphere include suspended particulate matter.
