We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 0252-C2RJJW on May 18, 2021 which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 8267-AC2PKC for 495582 Ontario Inc. located in Ottawa, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of May 18, 2031.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing sought feedback on an approach to update the Projection Methodology Guideline to reflect the land use planning policies in 2021. The Province considered the feedback received in the development of Proposed Updates to the Projection Methodology Guideline available for public input (see ERO#025-0844).

The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has posted a new proposal (ERO # 019-2826) which addresses amendments to its Statement of Environmental Values. Therefore a decision has been made not to proceed with this proposal. This notice is to advise that the posting is closed.

Permit to Take Water No. 3130-D8AN69 was issued to The Scarboro Golf and Country Club, Limited on August 20, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3566-9KJHNT for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one creek in the City of Toronto, Ontario for 5 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 4716-D5XPTX was issued to Islington Golf Club Limited on June 13, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 0875-BA8R8R for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from Mimico Creek in the Township of Etobicoke, City of Toronto, Ontario for 10 years.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 2704-AXVPF4 on August 3, 2018 which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No.2542-7QVK9D for Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited located in Ottawa, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of July 9, 2028.

We have issued Permit to Take Water No. 3257-CWKMTV on March 11, 2024, for Preston Sand and Gravel Limited. Water will be taken from one supply pond for aggregate washing purposes to support industrial activities at the Blair Pit in Cambridge, Ontario. The new permit expires on February 28, 2034.

A Permit to Take Water No. 0510-CTQKAZ was issued to Copper Creek GP Inc., on July 26, 2023, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3651-AWVKM2 for 5 years. Water will be taken from one pond for golf course irrigation purposes located in Kleinburg, Ontario.

Bill 60, the Fighting Delays, Building Faster Act, 2025, passed Third Reading, which amends section 53 of the Ontario Water Resources Act to exempt certain sewage systems on a single agricultural property servicing on-farm worker housing, up to 50,000 litres per day cumulatively, from requiring a sewage works environmental compliance approval.
