We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Aucoin-Dixon Developments Inc. for sanitary sewers and storm sewers to accommodate Cedar Park II subdivision development in the community of Waterford, Norfolk County.

This decision is for a renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 8440-8GCLCD. Permit to Take Water No. 1805-BZLJRZ was issued to Nobleton Lakes Golf Course Ltd. on April 15, 2021 for a period of 10 years for the purpose of golf course irrigation in the Township of King, Regional Municipality of York.

The Minister has issued a new market-based LNA Methodology for the Greater Golden Horseshoe (2020) which supports implementation of A Place to Grow (“the Plan”). This sets out how upper- and single-tier municipalities in the Greater Golden Horseshoe will determine the amount of land they require to accommodate forecasted growth to the Plan horizon.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage) for Spectur Separation Systems Inc., mobile sewage works for various sites in Ontario.

The permit was issued.

Permit to Take Water No. 7580-DQDKBJ has been issued to The Oakdale Golf and Country Club, Limited for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from two wells located in Toronto, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 2420-DQ9QS7 has been issued to Napanee Golf and Country Club, for golf course irrigation purposes.

The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, in partnership with other municipal, provincial and federal government agencies, and the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne have implemented the Cornwall Sediment Strategy - Administrative Controls Protocol.

An Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to Northern Waste Transfer Services Ltd., located in Lively, Ontario. The facility is a waste transfer station.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Air and Noise) has been granted to Daniel John Kasarda operating as Leamington Ornamental Iron Supplies, an ornamental aluminum castings manufacturing facility located in the Municipality of Leamington, Ontario.

Timco Foods Ltd. has ceased operations at the location. The application has been cancelled and no approval was issued.

The Minister has issued a social or economic benefit permit to Ontario Power Generation Inc. for impacts to four species at risk bats and Bank Swallow for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects on the species and their habitat and actions to support the protection and recovery of the species.
