We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) to 883993 Ontario Inc., a truck trailer manufacturing facility located in the Municipality of North Perth, County of Perth.

The ministry has issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval to Hydro One Networks Inc. for its Longueuil Transmission station (Longueuil TS), located at 1355 Lacelle Road in the Township of Champlain, Ontario.

We have issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Aucoin-Dixon Developments Inc. for sanitary sewers and storm sewers to accommodate Cedar Park II subdivision development in the community of Waterford, Norfolk County.

We have finalized the regulation that will make producers of hazardous and special products, including paints, pesticides, solvents, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze, pressurized containers, mercury-containing devices and fertilizers, responsible for collecting, managing and/or promoting the recycling or proper disposal of these products.

We have issued a Permit to Take Water No. 3814-CKNU56 for Inter-Recycling Systems Inc. This is a renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 2677-9T8RAT. Water will be taken from one pond for dewatering purposes at the closed Inter-Recycling Systems Landfill site, located in the City of Sarnia, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on November 6th, 2024 in respect of Application 60-C-201116 for a lot addition for resource-based recreational use on lands described as PIN 42151-0323 & PIN 42151-0293 in the District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed in November 27th, 2023. 

A decision was made to approve a site-specific amendment to remove certain lands in the Town of Oakville from the Parkway Belt West Plan (PBWP) and the associated Minister's Zoning Order (MZO), filed as Ontario Regulation 481/73. 

The PBWP amendment is approved as amendment No. 247 and the MZO amendment is filed as Ontario Regulation 48/26.

We approved the proposal to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. A230506 for the Bloomington Compost facility to receive up to 70,000 tonnes of materials per year, a 10,000 tonnes per year increase from the current approved amount of up to 60,000 tonnes of materials per year.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-13-10259 to Rolling Rock Resources Corporation for prescribed early exploration activities located in Stull Lake and Robinson Arm Areas.

The decision is to refuse the permit.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-9277228428 version: 1.0 has been issued to St. Rita at Marylake Long Term Care Home for foundation drainage purposes. Water taking will be from one well located at 13760 Keele Street in King City, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-7285620708 has been issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. renewing Permit to Take Water No. 2278-9N5Q6S for aggregate washing purposes. Water will be taken from one pond and one well at the New Lowell Pit, located in Clearview, Ontario for five years.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-22-000084 to Tashota Resources Inc. for early exploration activities.

The decision is to: issue the mineral exploration permit.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 2385-C94V8N that renews and consolidates Permits to Take Water Nos. 1406-B6ASWR and 2684-B7CJMF for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. was issued on December 16, 2021 for construction dewatering purposes for a project located at City of Hamilton, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 6866-D9ENW3 was issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. renewing Permit to Take Water No. 3786-BDQM5P for quarry dewatering and dust control purposes at the Cornwall Quarry. Water will be taken from two quarry sumps located in Cornwall Ontario for 2 years.

Permit to Take Water Reference No. 7550-DB5JH2 has been issued to Cole Leland Leibel to renew Permit to Take Water No. 7874-9BGFXY for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from Lake Simcoe and one pond for for golf course irrigation purposes at the Allandale Golf Course, located in Innisfil, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 5452-D4EHER was issued to GolfNorth Management Corp., operating as Rebel Creek Golf Club for 10 years. Water will be taken from one well and one pond for golf course irrigation purposes, located in Petersburg, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water P-300-1726597278 was issued to Mistral General Contracting Inc. on May 3, 2024. Water will be taken from two ponds for construction dewatering purposes, located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario.
