We have finalized the regulation that will make producers of hazardous and special products, including paints, pesticides, solvents, oil filters, oil containers, antifreeze, pressurized containers, mercury-containing devices and fertilizers, responsible for collecting, managing and/or promoting the recycling or proper disposal of these products.

This decision is to renew and consolidate Permits To Take Water Nos. 3358-B9RRFG and 4688-B68QGY for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. for construction dewatering purposes in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, the Township of North Dumfries and the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No.P-300-5300010195 was issued to Miller Paving Limited on February 26, 2025, to renew PTTW No. 02087-9MJPKQ. Water will be taken from Black Bay Creek for dust suppression and aggregate washing purposes at the Turcotte Pit, located in Petawawa, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 5228-D78UYP was issued to Camp Tamarack Ltd. on July 19, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 8000-9GGRLD for campground water supply purposes. Water will be taken from three wells in the Town of Bracebridge, District Municipality of Muskoka, Ontario for 10 years.

We issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air) to A & M Surftech Ltd., a facility that specializes in metal heat treatment processes using nitriding, carburizing and associated procedures located in the City of Mississauga, Regional Municipality of Peel, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (air) was granted to 1729787 Ontario Limited operating as Big Red Markets, a food service and meat smoking facility located in the City of Thorold, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario.

On May 2, 2019, the government introduced More Homes, More Choice: Ontario’s Housing Supply Action Plan. The Housing Supply Action Plan is complemented by the More Homes, More Choice Act, 2019, which received Royal Assent on June 6, 2019.

The application was withdrawn by the proponent. No approval was issued.

Permit to Take Water No. 0200-D2TLCX was issued to Cable Bridges Enterprises Limited on March 11, 2024, to amend Permit to Take Water No. 3163-BYJL8K for water supply purposes. Water will be taken from two sources in the Town of New Tecumseth, County of Simcoe, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3261695663 was issued to Twenty Valley Golf & Country Club Inc. on April 26, 2024, to renew Permit No. 0037-9GQMG2. Water will be taken from one pond and one creek for golf course irrigation purposes.

A new Permit to Take Water No.8206-CBATY9 that renews and consolidates Permits to Take Water Nos. 8002-B6BSTC and 0056-B95KPV for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. was issued on March 2, 2022 for construction dewatering purposes for a project located at City of Hamilton and Regional Municipality of Halton, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-8120366122 was issued to 1287089 Ontario Ltd. on July 12, 2024, to renew the permit P-300-8120366122 (Version 1.0). Water will be taken from one pond and two watercourses for golf course irrigation purposes, located in the City of London, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) was granted to Reclaim Solutions Inc., which operates as a medium-scale reclaimed metal manufacturing facility with cleaning, shredding, pressing, and sorting operations in the Town of Palmerston, County of Wellington, Ontario.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) was issued to Geosyntec Consultants International Inc. operating as SiREM.

A decision to approve all of Official Plan Amendment OPA No. 14 to the Official Plan of Shuniah, as adopted by Municipal By-law No. 3122-20, was made on November 20, 2020. The last day to appeal this decision on 58-OP-199606 is December 12, 2020.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued for the proposed sewage works serving Bellmere Winds Resort and Golf Course, located at 1235 Villiers Line, Otonabee-South Monaghan, Ontario.
