The Consent was draft approved on March 5, 2019 with conditions. A major change was made on April 16, 2019, as outline in ERO #019-0033. The last date to appeal was May 6, 2019.

Approval was granted for an amendment to allow Ross Roth Sand & Gravel Inc. to increase the number of tonnes of aggregate to be removed annually for the Bright Pit #1 operating in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim.

A new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-4082219682 was issued to BEL-AIR EXCAVATING & GRADING LTD. Water will be taken for industrial purposes, in Cambridge, Ontario. Water will be taken from two wells and one pond to wash aggregates.

This proposal was for a Category 1 Permit to Take Water Renewal of permit No. 8575-A3BKYB for CRH Canada Group Inc. for the purpose of continued quarry operations at the Milton Quarry site. Permit No. 5256-BUUP62 was issued on November 2, 2020 for a period of 10 years.

This decision is for a renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 8186-8ZUHYY for Vale Canada Limited for mine dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one pit for open pit dewatering for Ellen Pit 1, located at Lot 2, Concession 5, Denison, Ontario.

This was a proposal for a new Permit To Take Water for MOD Developments (Charles) Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of MOD Developments (Charles) Limited Partnership, for dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one (1) well located in the City of Toronto.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 6475-AVGMXB had been issued to Ferma Aggregates Incorporated on April 30, 2018 for dewatering the quarry sinkhole in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water had an expiry date of May 1, 2019.

New Permit to Take Water No. P-300-2256078790 was issued to York Major Holdings Inc., Water will be taken from one well for construction dewatering purposes serving Phase 1 of the proposed Chelsea Eagle Point Development, located in the City of Vaughan, Ontario.

Application 58-C-193026 for the creation of a new lot on Two Island Lake was refused.

Permit to Take Water No. 6452-ASXS26 has been reviewed for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from one (1) well related to food processing activities, located in the Township of King, Regional Municipality of York, Ontario.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted for sewage works serving one 2 bedroom private residential cottage, located at Lot 136 Road 100 at Conestogo Lake in the Township of Mapleton, Ontario.

A permit to take water was not required.

We have issued a director’s order to Rain Carbon Canada Inc. requiring them to hold a public meeting and submit applications and supporting documentation for new site-specific standards and an amended environmental compliance approval by May 1, 2023.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent to create one new lot for seasonal recreation was granted on November 28, 2022, subject to conditions. A Notice of Change, dated November 1, 2024, has amended the list of conditions.

An Environmental Compliance Approval (Air and Noise) has been issued to Bella Biochar Corporation, located in Woodstock, Ontario. The facility will undertake a wood processing pilot project. This approval is of one (1) Air Curtain Incinerator equipped with a diesel engine.

59-C-185458 was amended on April 26, 2021. A new condition was added. Applicants have one (1) year to satisfy conditions otherwise approval will lapse. The last day to appeal this decision under the Planning Act is May 17, 2021.

An Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to JPI Farms Inc. for sanitary sewage treatment and surface water disposal works to service Phases 1 to 4 bunkhouse/greenhouse development located at 422 Mersea Road 7, in the Municipality of Leamington.

This decision is for a new Permit To Take Water for MLYM Inc. for dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one well for foundation drainage in the City of Toronto, Ontario. Permit No. 2228-BXLS64 was issued on February 5, 2021 for a period of ten years.
