We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4723-CWQM65 on November 6, 2023, which cancels and replaces permit No. 3480-AQ5Q7R, for Findlay Creek Properties (North) Ltd. and Tartan Homes (North Leitrim) Inc. and Tartan Land (North Leitrim) Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario for construction purposes. The new permit expires on August 31, 2027.

This Permit to Take Water (No. 7112-DSZTBW) has been issued to Great Bear Resources Ltd. (the proponent) for their Advanced Exploration Program operation. Water will be taken for the purposes of underground dewatering, dust suppression, potable water supply, flow supplementation and contingency plans from one watercourse and six wells.

Permit to Take Water No. P-300-1331549504 was issued to Guelph Cutten Club on March 12, 2025. Water will be taken from one watercourse and one pond for golf course irrigation purposes at the Cutten Fields Golf Club, located at 190 College Avenue East in Guelph, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No.P-300-8232820632 was issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. on August 1, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 1564-98FL74. Water will be taken from two sources for industrial purposes, including aggregate washing and dewatering, in the Town of Pelham, Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 1412-DM4P2V was issued to Darling International Canada Inc. on October 6, 2025. Water will be taken from two wells in Hamilton, Ontario, food processing purposes.

Permit to Take Water No. 8117-DNKQBX has been issued to Cavanagh Concrete Ltd., for industrial manufacturing purposes. Water will be taken from two wells in Ottawa, Ontario.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000355 to Pistol Bay Mining Inc. to undertake early exploration activities.

Decision to Issue

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for 1083131 Ontario Inc. for golf course irrigation purposes. Water will be taken from one watercourse at the Parkshore Golf Club, located in the City of Brampton, Ontario. Permit to Take Water No. 7420-C9CL7T was issued on December 8, 2021.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to 2780530 Ontario Inc., operating as Ridge Farms, for the stormwater management works serving Phase 1 greenhouse development with 14.43 hectares of catchment area, located at 2461 Albuna Townline (County Road 31), in the Town of Kingsville, County of Essex, Ontario.
