The ministry has amended existing Environmental Compliance Approval No. 1069-95AQPW (industrial sewage) issued to the Canadian National Railway Company, for the establishment of additional stormwater management works, in support of proposed CN Stuart Rail Yard drainage improvements - Phase 1; located at 220 Harbour Front Drive in Hamilton.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted to 2780530 Ontario Inc., operating as Ridge Farms, for the stormwater management works serving Phase 1 greenhouse development with 14.43 hectares of catchment area, located at 2461 Albuna Townline (County Road 31), in the Town of Kingsville, County of Essex, Ontario.

The approval is granted for the use and operation of a waste disposal site for processing of solid non-hazardous waste limited to waste electronic and electrical equipment (EEE) and similar metal bearing materials not listed in Schedules 1 to 7 of O. Reg. 389/16.

The Permit to Take Water for Pure Gold Mining Inc. for the taking of water from one pond (process water pond) for mining operations in the District of Kenora, Ontario has been approved under Permit No. 6834-BVBRSJ.

This Application 60-C-183492 for Consent was given conditional approval on February 7, 2019 and was amended on January 10, 2020. The last day to appeal this decision under the Planning Act is January 30, 2020.

A new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-4191683659 was issued for Roselawn and Main Urban Properties Inc. on February 8, 2023, for 10 years. Water will be taken from one (1) well for long term dewatering purposes in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

A new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-3191701282 was issued to S & A Developments Limited on February 8, 2023, for 10 years. Water will be taken from one drainage system for long-term foundation drainage, located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

The application for Permit To Take Water for First Quantum Minerals Ltd. Water from one pond for industrial and domestic water supply purposes at the Winston Lake mine site was returned to First Quantum Minerals Ltd. on September 16, 2021, as the Permit was no longer required by the applicant.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 8768-C2CLU5 has been issued to George Benn and Sons Construction Limited on April 26, 2021 for the purpose of quarry dewatering and dust suppression activites located in (Ernestown) Loyalist Township, Lennox and Addington County. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 26, 2031.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 0404-BPTPJ2 on May 25, 2020 which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water number 0624-8BXML3 for Bestway Springs Golf and Country Club in Burlington, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of May 22, 2030.

The application for a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) has been withdrawn. No approval has been issued.

Permit to Take Water No. 0160-D3JMXK was issued to Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities Inc. on March 20, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 0730-CBFLBN for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one well in the Town of Innisfil, County of Simcoe, Ontario for 2 years.

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for Queen Leslie Developments Limited for dewatering and foundation drainage purposes. Water will be taken from one well, located at 1285 Queen Street East, in the City of Toronto. Permit No. 7762-BWBRUH was issued on December 17, 2020 for a period of 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 7614-BGAKVW was issued, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 2410-7T6JT6. The permit was issued on November 7, 2019 with an expiry date of September 23, 2029.
