We have approved new Permit To Take Water No. 6401-BEKNUT for Nicli Aggregates Inc. to take water for industrial purposes in Dorchester, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 4260-BB5KRG issued on April 23, 2019, which renews and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 2586-9GHQSJ and expires April 23, 2029.

A decision was made on November 4, 2022 to approve, with modifications, the new City of Ottawa Official Plan.  The approved official plan outlines a comprehensive framework of new and revised policies to guide growth and development to 2046.

A decision was made on April 11, 2023 to approve, with modifications, Official Plan Amendment 6 to the Regional Municipality of Waterloo Official Plan, as adopted by By-law 22-038. Official Plan Amendment 6 contains policies to guide growth and development within the Region to the year 2051.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4657-CPHLD2 on March 1, 2023 to Ottawa Community Housing Corporation. Water will be taken from two ponds for construction dewatering purposes located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario. This new permit expires on March 1, 2038.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to Chrisview Custom Homes Ltd. for the intended residential and commercial use of the property located at 415 Water Street South, Cambridge, Ontario.

Maurice Yelle Excavation Ltd. has been issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit, in the City of Ottawa.

Site plan amendment for Johnston Brothers (Bothwell) Limited to change the final depth of extraction from above the water table to below the water table was approved. Changes to the final rehabilitation of the site operating in the Municipality of Thames Centre, County of Middlesex was also approved.
