Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on January 7, 2021 in respect of Application 54-C-205816 for the creation of one new lot on lands described as the south half of Lot 5, Concession 6, Henwood unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming. The last day this decision can be appealed is January 27, 2021.

​​The government amended the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act (EMCPA) to strengthen provincial leadership and coordination in emergency management, enhance community capacity, and formally outline Ontario Corps as a key function in supporting emergency preparedness and response efforts across the province.​ 

Permit to Take Water No. 3056 BF7M9L was issued on August 27, 2019 with an expiry date of August 20, 2029.

Brian and Pearl Bumstead were issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Township of Chatsworth.

Permit to Take Water No. 5776-DM9HQR was issued to Hillside Hothouse Limited on November 4, 2025. Water will be taken from two wells, located in the Town of Kingsville, Ontario, for agricultural and heating purposes.

The Minister has issued an amendment to an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 (ESA) for activities which will impact Species at Risk and their habitat, and which was originally issued to Schlegel Urban Development and is now being updated to Schlegel Urban Developments Corp.

The ministry issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4512-CCMNED to The Sarjeant Company Limited (Sarjeant) on June 15, 2022 and expiring on June 15, 2027. Water will be taken primarily for aggregate washing purposes in the Township of Tiny. The ministry has approved one out of the two sources applied for. Details regarding the taking are below.

The last day this decision can be appealed is December 30, 2020.

An Environmental Compliance Approval19-PET-72453 (Waste Disposal Site) was issued on 04/05/2022 for a hauled sewage disposal site in Haliburton County

On July 18, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 159/25 with the Registrar of Regulations which amends the Zoning Order filed as 169/21 in the City of Markham.

The government brought into force a regulation under the Planning Act that authorizes landowners to stipulate that pay-on-demand surety bonds are to be used to secure municipal obligations that are conditions of land-use planning approvals. A wider acceptance of pay-on-demand surety bonds may help homebuilders to free up funds for housing projects.

The government has made changes that restore all 15 areas of land that were redesignated or removed from the Greenbelt in December 2022.

Approval granted for the establishment of industrial stormwater management Works to serve Alpine Auto Collision and Body Repair shop, for the collection, transmission, treatment and disposal of stormwater run-off from a total catchment area of 0.42 hectares, to provide Enhanced Level water quality protection and erosion control.

The Ministry of Energy and Mines has taken actions to facilitate the development of a critical transmission project that will support demand growth in the GTA and enable new clean electricity generation east of Toronto, while advancing a shared goal of reconciliation by supporting economic and partnership opportunities for Indigenous communities.

The minister has issued a social or economic benefit permit to NextStar Energy Inc. and the Corporation of the City of Windsor for impacts to Butler’s Gartersnake, a species at risk. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects on the species and its habitat and actions to support the protection and recovery of the species.
