Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on October 10, 2019 in respect of Application 57-C-197066 for the creation of one new lot for resource-based recreational purposes to sever lands described as PIN 31341-0052, Part 2 of Lot 11 on Registered Plan Number M-139, Whitman unincorporated township, Algoma District.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on October 3, 2023 in respect of Application 60-C-239373 for a lot addition for resource-based recreational use on lands described as PIN 42180-2611, in the community of Minaki, District of Kenora. The last day this decision can be appealed is October 23, 2023.

Permit To Take Water No. 7415-DFAJGC has been issued to Ballantrae Golf Club renewing PTTW No. 3220-BD8HGV. Water will be taken from 11 wells for golf course irrigation and dewatering purposes. Water takings are located in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario.

Permit To Take Water No. 6830-BH3GB3 was issued on January 23, 2020 to James Dick Construction Limited for dewatering purposes at the Ramara/Gamebridge Quarry.  This amendment increases the maximum rate of water taken per minute and maximum volume of water per day. The Permit expires on January 25, 2025.

We reviewed and considered all feedback received during the comment period for the discussion paper, "Ontario’s Crown Forests: Opportunities to Enhance Carbon Storage?". We will continue to consider options for supporting and enhancing carbon storage in Ontario’s Crown Forests.

Henry Hau requested to withdraw their application for an Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise).

This decision is to renew and consolidate three Permits to Take Water for Enbridge Pipelines Inc., for construction dewatering purposes within the Municipality of Southwestern Ontario. Permit No. 5660-CAKR62 was issued on January 27, 2022 with an expiry date of December 31, 2021.

The new Official Plan for the Sudbury East Planning Area, as adopted in April, 2023, was approved subject to 21 modifications on July 15, 2025.  

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on May 3, 2022 in respect of Application 58-C-218616 for the creation of one of two new lots for recreational use on lands described as PIN 62492-0254, Unincorporated Township of Sibley, District of Thunder Bay. The last day this decision can be appealed is May 23, 2022.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 3584-CEAQ9S on May 26, 2022. It cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 7528-8M5QPX for Ukrainian National Federation of Canada (Toronto Branch). Water will be taken from one well for communal water supply in the Township of Oro Medonte, Ontario. The new permit has an expiry date of May 31, 2032.

Provisional consent was granted subject to conditions on January 20, 2021. The last date to appeal the decision is February 9, 2021.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 5056-BNNNBM has been issued to Equinelle Developments Inc. on April 30, 2020, for taking water from one (1) river and one (1) pond for golf course irrigation purposes, located in North Grenville, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 23, 2030.
