A new Environmental Compliance Approval was granted for existing and proposed seasonal subsurface disposal works, rated at 42,895 L/day, to service the 1000 Islands/Kingston KOA campground located at 2039 Cordukes Road in Kingston, Ontario.

The Ministry is proposing to issue a permit to Midex Resources Ltd., to undertake early exploration activities. The location of the activities is approximately 15 kilometres southwest of Sandy Lake First Nation, Ontario, in Setting Net Lake Area, District of Kenora, North West Region.
We have approved amendments to the Trent Source Protection Plan including the Trent Assessment Report. These amendments involve updating the vulnerable area mapping for a new well for the City of Kawartha Lakes’ King’s Bay drinking water system.
We approved the proposal to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) No. A230506 for the Bloomington Compost facility to receive up to 70,000 tonnes of materials per year, a 10,000 tonnes per year increase from the current approved amount of up to 60,000 tonnes of materials per year.
