An amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) was issued to Mount Pleasant Cemetery (London) Inc. for the operation of a crematorium facility, located in the City of London, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 4425-BBXPSA was issued, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 8580-7T2QVG. The permit was issued on July 10, 2019 with an expiry date of May 6, 2029.

Permit to Take Water No. 7835-DFRH6H was issued to Willow Ridge Golf & Country Club Ltd. on July 4, 2025. Water will be taken from three ponds and one watercourse for golf course irrigation purposes, located in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario.

Water will be taken from one pond for construction, dewatering, and aggregate washing purposes at the Perth Quarry, located in the Township of Drummond-North Elmsley, Ontario.

On September 20, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 367/24 in the Town of Ajax. The Town of Ajax requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 1750-C7ANQY on October 4, 2021 which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 8814-8SBR7X for Aon Inc., Business/Facility Name: Port Hope Golf & Country Club located in Port Hope, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of October 1, 2031.

This decision is to renew a Permit to Take Water for Hidden Hills Golf and Country Club Limited for commercial purposes. Under Permit to take Water No. P-300-4151219561, issued on March 1, 2022 for 10 years, will be taken from one creek and one pond for golf course irrigation located in Dover Centre, Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 60-C-185066 for a 0.046-hectare lot addition for land described as PIN42150-1813, Part 1, 23R-5922 PIN 42150-1814, Unsurveyed Territory, District of Kenora. The last day of appeal of this decision is October 23, 2019.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 58-C-198773 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 62327-0020, Mary Lake, Unincorporated Township of Jacques, District of Thunder Bay. The last day of appeal of this decision is September 18, 2019

The Permit to Take Water No.P-300-1190741453 (V3.0) was issued to Dunsford Golf & Country Club Inc. on August 1, 2024, to amend the permit P-300-1190741453 (V2.0). Water will be taken from one pond and two wells for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes, located at the Dunsford Golf Club in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario.

We amended regulations under the Mining Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the Environmental Bill of Rights that came into force on April 1, 2021. The amended regulations include updating section references to align with the legislative amendments to the Mining Act, which received Royal Assent on December 10, 2019, under Bill 132.

We issued a Minister’s Directive to the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) requiring them to implement a 12-year electricity conservation and demand-side management (eDSM) Framework starting January 1, 2025, which includes a budget of up to $10.9 billion for the IESO to deliver a portfolio of electricity energy efficiency (EE) programs.

On April 1, 2024, O. Reg. 240/00 Advanced Exploration, Mine Development and Closure Under Part VII of the Act will be replaced with a new regulation, O Reg. 35/24, titled "Rehabilitation of Lands." This new regulation retains most of the provisions of O. Reg. 240/00, integrating amendments and aligning with the Building More Mines Act, 2023. 

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5229047655, which cancels and replaces Permit No. 2341-BM8KPD, for Karson Holdings Inc. Water will be taken for aggregate washing and aggregate extraction purposes at the McGee Pit, located in Carp, Ontario.

The new permit will expire on December 1, 2033.

We have issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (sewage) to 2427255 Ontario Inc. for the construction of a wet pond and storm and sanitary sewers serving the proposed McTavish Residential Subdivision, on a property legally described as Part 16-1, Reference Plan M-49, in the Township of Huron-Kinloss, County of Bruce.

On August 2, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(A) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 324/24 in the City of St. Thomas. MEDJCT requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.

On September 13, 2024, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing filed a Minister's Zoning Order, made pursuant to clause 47(1)(a) of the Planning Act, with the Registrar of Regulations as Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 358/24 in the Municipality of Clarington. The Municipality requested that the Minister consider making the Zoning Order.
