We issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval with Limited Operational Flexibility to DEW Engineering and Development ULC to amend Environmental Compliance Approval Number 9744-7ZTT2T, issued July 2, 2010. DEW operates a manufacturing facility for the assembly of large pieces of metal equipment via welding, cutting and painting operations.
Amendments have been made to regulations under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act to reduce regulatory burden and streamline requirements related to trapping and airports that experience conflict or public safety issues associated with deer or elk.
This notice is to inform the regulated community and the public that the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) is adopting updated approved air dispersion models under O. Reg. 419/05. Adoption of the updated models will take effect upon publishing of this notice.
