A decision was made on October 27, 2025, to approve the City of Kitchener Official Plan Amendment 45, as adopted by By-law 2024-057. The amendment modifies Site-Specific Policy 15.D.12.40 to permit a maximum height of 24 storeys on lands designated 'Mixed Use' at the southwest corner of Huron Road and Strasburg Road.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-21-000168 to Harte Gold Corp for early exploration activities, in Cooper and Strickland townships, approximately 25 kilometres north of the Town of White River.

A decision was made on August 4, 2021 to approve the City of Brantford’s new Official Plan: Envisioning Our City 2051, as adopted through Bylaw 1-2021, with fourteen (14) modifications related to matters of provincial interest.

An approval was issued to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 4467-8UZHR9 for the renewal of the Limited Operational Flexibility conditions for FNX Mining Company Inc., a copper/nickel mining operation located in Sudbury, Ontario.

A decision was made on September 5, 2025, to approve the City of Cambridge Official Plan Amendment 87, as adopted by By-law 24-123. The Official Plan Amendment 87 proposes to add a site-specific policy to permit a maximum density of 61 units per hectare for the lands municipally known as 36 Elliott Street.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-20-000376 to Panther Metals (Canada) Ltd. for early exploration activities near Marathon, Ontario.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on May 26, 2025 in respect of Application 60-C-249776 for a lot addition on lands described as PIN 42150-3047 on Poplar Bay, Lake of the Woods, unincorporated territory, District of Kenora. A Notice of Change, dated July 3, 2025, has amended the list of conditions.
