The renewal Permit To Take Water No. 5633-ANRKTN for Saugeen Golf Club for golf course irrigation was approved under Permit No. 7848-BYYKTN on March 11, 2021. Water will be taken from two wells and two ponds in the Town of Saugeen Shores, Bruce County, Ontario.

An Amended Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) has been issued to Waterloo Electroplating & Metal Finishing Inc., located in the City of Waterloo, Ontario. This approval includes emissions from the sources associated with two metal finishing lines of the facility.

The government has made legislative changes to the Transit Oriented Communities Act, 2020 through the Protect Ontario by Building Faster and Smarter Act, 2025 (Bill 17).

Permit to Take Water No. 5254-DP6R7C has been issued to Gold X2 Mining Inc. (previously known as Goldshore Resources Inc.) for industrial water taking purposes. Water will be taken from one river source (Wawiag River) and from one lake source (Snodgrass Lake) for a multi-drill exploration program, located in the City of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Permit to Take Water No. 5542-B4HK8G was issued, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 7763-AFHM5W. The permit was issued on December 14, 2018 with an expiry date of September 30, 2028.

881733 ONTARIO INC.  was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit and quarry in the District of Parry Sound. 

The ministry issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 5462-CL7REX on November 18, 2022, to St. Mary’s Cement Inc. (Canada) for aggregate washing and concrete production purposes. The permitted water taking will serve the CBM Aggregates Brantford Pit in the County of Brant, Ontario. The new permit expires on November 19, 2032.
