We have cancelled the Environmental Compliance Approval application for Hamilton Specialty Bar (2007) Inc., in North Hamilton, Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval was issued for the establishment of stormwater management works and wastewater infrastructure works to serve the North Bay Casino located in the City of North Bay.

An amended licence was issued to Drain Bros. Excavating Limited in the Township of North Kawartha, removing three conditions.

The Minister has issued an overall benefit permit under the Endangered Species Act, 2007 to the Town of Aurora regarding works to mitigate erosion and flooding that will impact three species of at-risk bats. The permit includes actions to benefit the species and minimize adverse effects and requires monitoring and reporting.

Regulatory and policy changes under the Conservation Authorities Act were finalized to improve conservation authority governance, oversight, transparency, and accountability. They provide the flexibility needed to effectively develop budgets to deliver programs and services and were developed with the Conservation Authorities Working Group.

The exploration permit was issued.

Ernie Herrington Excavation, Trucking and Sanitation Ltd. was issued a licence to extract aggregate from a pit in the Municipality of North Middlesex.

Permit Issued. The exploration permit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

The site plan amendment request by J.C. Rock Ltd., seeking approval for amendments to stockpiles and berms identified on the site plan, for the Laxton Quarry in the City of Kawartha Lakes has been approved.

Ontario and Canada have signed a historic bilateral conservation agreement for boreal caribou under the federal Species at Risk Act with the objective to sustain or improve the environmental conditions necessary for the recovery of the boreal caribou, while considering social and economic factors.

The amending regulation to the Building Code, O. Reg. 762/20, was filed on December 16, 2020. It is available on e-Laws, Ontario’s online database of statutes and regulations.

This Application for Consent was given conditional approval on March 22, 2022, was amended on August 2, 2022, and was further amended on January 4, 2023.  Last date to appeal decision is January 24, 2023.

The Director of Exploration has made a decision on the exploration permit application PR-19-000332 to Aki Siltamaki for early exploration activities approximately 80 kilometres North of Thunder Bay, Ontario, in the Max Lake Area, District of Thunder Bay, North West Region.
