The Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has issued an overall benefit permit to the Town of LaSalle for construction activities that may impact Eastern Foxsnake and Dense Blazing Star, two species at risk. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects, benefit the species, as well as monitoring and reporting requirements.

We issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to Waste Management of Canada Corporation for their 1380 California Avenue location in Brockville, Ontario.

The amendment allows an increase in waste amounts from 300 tonnes storage to 3,018 tonnes total, including up to 1,612 tonnes of in-process waste and 3,000 bales of waste.

We have updated some of the values found in Table 1 and Table 2 of the Nutrient Management Tables, part of the Nutrient Management Protocol, incorporated by reference into O. We have exempted the Bradford Bypass project from duplicative requirements of the EAA by way of a regulation. We issued an Environmental Compliance Approval to King and Benton Canal Bank Regeneration Lands Inc. to permit resource recovery operations at the former Union Carbide landfill located at 65 Canal Bank Street in Welland, Ontario. The approval will permit the company to reclaim and store valuable graphite waste historically disposed in the landfill.

We have approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval No. 2936-DHGLJZ for York1 Tiffin Recycling Ltd. for the construction and operation of a waste disposal site (processing) located within a 1.639 hectares total site area located at 529 Tiffin Street in the City of Barrie.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (industrial sewage) has been issued to 9483004 Canada Ltd. for the construction of a stormwater management facility servicing a proposed light industrial building located on lands legally described as Part of Lot 21, Concession 4, Township of Russell, Ontario.

This decision is to renew and consolidate Permits To Take Water Nos. 3358-B9RRFG and 4688-B68QGY for Enbridge Pipelines Inc. for construction dewatering purposes in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, the Township of North Dumfries and the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

This was for a Permit to Take Water issued to Vale Canada Limited/ Vale Canada Limitée under Permit No.P-300-5263515891 issued for 10 years. Water will be taken from one lake for aggregate washing purposes, located in the Township of Curtin, District of Sudbury, Ontario.

The application for the Permit to Take Water was cancelled by the ministry. No permit was issued.

A Certificate of Property Use was issued to the Regional Municipality of Waterloo for the property located at 188 Water Street South, in the City of Cambridge, on June 7, 2023.
