We have amended the Rondeau Provincial Park Management Plan to enable an extension of existing leases for cottage lots in Rondeau Provincial Park for an additional two-year period, until December 31, 2024.

A decision was made on September 5, 2025, to approve, in part, Norfolk County Official Plan Amendment 163, with modifications, as adopted by By-law 2024-48. Official Plan Amendment 163 updates policies and land use designations to comply with the Planning Act and to be consistent with the Provincial Planning Statement.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval was issued for the establishment of works for the treatment of sanitary sewage and subsurface disposal of treated effluent from the expanded Residential Accommodations for Refugees, rated at a maximum daily flow of 16,500 litres per day.

On July 21, 2023 we issued an Environmental Compliance Approval No. 1557-CQ4SUP to manage liquid and solid non-hazardous organic waste at a waste disposal site (transfer/processing), located at 1125 and 1133 Route 900 East in St. Albert, Ontario.

The Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has issued an overall benefit permit to CRH Canada Group Inc. for aggregate extraction that may impact two species at risk salamanders. The permit includes actions to minimize adverse effects and benefit the species, and monitoring and reporting requirements.

The permit to take water No. P-300-4301315692 v1.0 was issued to Agnico Eagle Mines Limited on April 4, 2025. Water will be taken from one pond for mine dewatering purposes at the Detour Lake Mine, located in Cochrane, Ontario.

We issued a new Environmental Compliance Approval (Air and Noise) with Limited Operational Flexibility to Polycorp Ltd. to amend Environmental Compliance Approval No. 7193-9VKK37, issued May 13, 2015. Polycorp Ltd., located in Elora, Ontario, manufactures rubber and rubber products.
