The Permit to Take Water No. 2773-CXMM4T was issued to G. Tackaberry & Sons Construction Company Limited on January 8, 2024, for renewal of PTTW No. 4358-98THZK. Water will be taken from one pond located in the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal for dewatering, construction and and industrial purposes for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 6662-D3CKQ4 was issued to Brookfield Residential (Ontario) GP Inc., on April 9, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 5736-CFTPDF for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from four well arrays in the Town of Essa, County of Simcoe, Ontario for 4 years.

The Permit to Take Water No. 3262-D96LNT was issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. on September 18, 2024, to renew the permit 5031-9FDMKX . Water will be taken from one well and one pond for dewatering and aggregate washing activities at Bearbrook Quarry, located in Gloucester, Ontario.

The application was cancelled by the Ministry at the technical review stage because there was insufficient information in the application.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 1720-CEHUKA on June 29, 2022, which cancels and replaces permit No. 6737-9NLKUX, for Fescue’s Edge Golf Club Inc. for golf course irrigation purposes. The water taking will serve the Niagara Fescue's Edge Golf Club in Scotland, County of Brant, Ontario. The new permit expires on December 31, 2030.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4066-CMTRGT for Formosa Springs Brewery 1870 Inc. on January 9, 2023, which cancels and replaces permit No. 2473-ARLJE5. Water will be taken from two wells for industrial purposes at a manufacturing facility located in Formosa, Ontario.

This new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste disposal site) has been issued to Convertus Canada Ltd. for a new anaerobic digestion facility to be located at 50 Garfield Wright Boulevard, in East Gwillimbury, Ontario.

OPA 25 is a statutory update under section 26 of the Planning Act. OPA 25 was given final approval with 20 modifications related to matters of Provincial interest on March 26, 2020.

An amended Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to 10007986 Canada Inc., as general partner for and on behalf of Can Art Aluminum Extrusion Limited Partnership for their facility located at 85 Parkshore Drive in Brampton.

This approval is to amend Environmental Compliance Approval (air & noise) No. 4719-A4JSHP for Revolution Solution Acquisition GP Inc., a liquid and solid waste processing facility located in the City of Hamilton, Ontario.

The application for an amended Environmental Compliance Approval for has been withdrawn. No approval has been issued.
 

The government has made legislative changes to the Transit Oriented Communities Act, 2020 through the Protect Ontario by Building Faster and Smarter Act, 2025 (Bill 17).

This decision is to renew Permit to Take Water No. 5806-AE2NE6 issued to Galibier Materials Inc. for industrial purposes. Water will be taken from one well for aggregate washing in Springwater Township, County of Simcoe, Ontario. Permit to Take Water No. 1036-C85QXZ was issued on November 2, 2021.

We issued an amended Environmental Compliance Approval to Sarnia Concrete Products Limited for their ready-mix concrete batching facility located at 800 Gillard Street in the community of Wallaceburg, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4362-CBPV6H on February 25, 2022 ,which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 1406-8WSHDK for Heico 2004 Member, Inc., for industrial and dewatering purposes. located in Champlain, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of February 23, 2032.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted on January 24, 2018 in respect of Application 58-C-172426 to sever a 0.2622 hectare lot from PIN 0079 to be added to PIN 0080 on lands located in Stirling, District of Thunder Bay, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the Township of Nipigon.

This decision is for an amendment to Permit to Take Water No. P-300-6062209462 for Silver Lake Ontario Inc. Water will be taken from three lakes and one borehole for mining purposes as part of the Sugar Zone Project.
