We have approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval No.1818-BETNF9 for sewage disposal works to service a cottage located within the Chesley Lake Camp property in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Ontario.

The Permit to Take Water No. P-300-5283560883 was issued to Barcovan Golf Club Limited on July 18, 2024, to renew the permit 4888-98MQNE. Water will be taken from one existing pond and two wells for golf course and other commercial purposes, located in the City of Quinte West, Ontario.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 5218-CL2QUP to Minto (Hazeldean) GP Inc. Water will be taken from four ponds for a proposed development that will consist of a mixed-use community, located in the City of Ottawa, Ontario. The permit expires on November 14, 2032.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 4604-BLRRWT has been issued to Whitestone Aggregates Inc. on February 17, 2020 for aggregate washing purposes in Minden Hills, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of December 15, 2029.

On August 13, 2025, the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing gave provisional consent to Application No. 54-C-248516 to sever a new lot for a continued agricultural use, in Cane unincorporated township, District of Timiskaming.

Ontario Regulation 161/17 was amended to clarify that floating accommodations cannot be placed or used for outdoor accommodation or camping purposes on public land covered by water. Ontario Regulation 326/94 was also amended to make the same clarification for non-residents camping on public land in northern Ontario.

An Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to 2052865 Ontario Limited for a site located in Toronto, Ontario. The facility is a closed landfill.

Permit to Take Water No. 1836-DATPUB has been issued to T. Welch & Son Limited to renew Permit to Take Water No. 6346-9R8LA9 for golf course irrigation and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from one pond and three wells in the City of Ottawa, Ontario for 10 years.

Permit to Take Water No. 5665-D97KHU was issued to Safety-Kleen Canada Inc. on September 27, 2024, to renew Permit to Take Water No. 3676-9QXQLU for industrial and water supply purposes. Water will be taken from three wells in Breslau, Township of Woolwich, Ontario for 5 years.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval has been issued to Lafarge Canada Inc. to operate one mobile aggregate crushing plant. Conditions imposed include minimum setbacks to receptors and notification to the District Office of the Ministry prior to operating at a site.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7612-CJERQM on September 20, 2022 for Reid's Heritage Homes Ltd. Water will be taken for temporary construction dewatering purposes for a proposed development, located at 4117 Perth Line 36 in Stratford, Ontario. The new permit expires on September 20, 2023.

Bernt Gilbertson Enterprises Limited has requested to withdraw their application for amendment to Environmental Compliance Approval No. 9624-79RSC4 (Air & Noise) for the operation of a mobile crushing plant.

This decision is for the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 8035-8U5P7F for Gott Enterprises Inc. and is for water bottling purposes. The new permit No. 3568-CJGH8C was issued on Friday, September 30, 2022 with an expiry date of September 30, 2032.

This decision is for the renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 5124-C25QT3, for Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd., for industrial purposes at the Detour Lake Mine, located approximately 185 kilometres north-east of Cochrane, Ontario.
