A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Industrial Sewage) has been issued to Atlas Dewatering Corporation.

We made changes to help protect, conserve and manage the Cat-Slate Forest. The forest is located north of Sioux Lookout, in Northwestern Ontario.

Permits PR-19-000048, PR-19-000049, PR-19-000050 and PR-19-000057 were issued. The exploration permits are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 59-C-185204 for a 0.12-hectare lot addition for land described as PINs 56013-00076 (LT), 56013-0292 (LT) & 56013-0465 (LT); Unincorporated Township of Watten, District of Rainy River.

Pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, provisional consent was granted in respect of Application 60-C-183326 for the creation of one (1) new resource-based recreational lot for land described as PIN 42180-1017, Minaki Area, Unincorporated Territory, District of Kenora.

This decision was granted to renew the Permit To Take Water No. 8276-7QXQUY for commercial purposes. Water will be taken from one river for golf course irrigation. Permit Number 8276-7QXQUY was issued on May 6, 2019 for a period of 10 years.

This new Environmental Compliance Approval is for industrial wastewater treatment works serving Miller Group Inc. located at 1059 Whitton Road, in Horton Township.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Sewage) was granted for Mark McQuabbie, for the establishment of two (2) proposed sewage works, consisting of a subsurface disposal system (septic tank and filter bed) with rated capacity of 2,000 litres per day to service a residence building.

A new Environmental Compliance Approval (Waste Disposal Site) was granted to Draglam Waste & Recycling Inc. for the use and operation of waste disposal site, located at 1325 Squires Beach Road.
