We're improving intercommunity bus service across Ontario with a two-part approach that will connect communities and meet the travel needs of Ontarians.

This proposal was to renew Permit to Take Water No. 1674-A4RHW2 for commercial purposes. Water will be taken from Willow Creek and three (3) ponds related to golf course irrigation activities located in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario. Permit No. 8828-BM5QCV was issued on March 23, 2020 for a period of 5 years.

This decision is for a new Permit to Take Water for dewatering purposes. Permit to Take Water No. 7801-BXV538 was issued on February 23, 2021 for a period of 10 years. Water will be taken from a well array related to construction and drainage activities, located in the City of Toronto, Ontario.

This decision is for a renewal of Permit to Take Water No. 2232-8CDQLE. Permit to Take Water No. 4174-BZ5SS2 was issued to Meadowbrook Golf and Country Club Association on March 23, 2021 for the purpose of golf course irrigation. The permit expires on March 15, 2031.

A new Permit to Take Water No. 7648-BZWM8K has been issued to Azure Westboro Ltd. on April 30, 2021 for construction dewatering purposes. Water will be taken from one dugout pond in the City of Ottawa, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 30, 2023.

We finalized the amended and restated Operating Agreement between the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and the Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority. The amendments will help ensure transparent and effective oversight for Ontario’s producer responsibility model and will address necessary administrative changes.

We introduced Bill 139 - the Building Better Communities and Conserving Watersheds Act, 2017, on May 30, 2017. The changes identified in the bill respond to the province-wide consultation the government undertook as part of the Ontario Municipal Board Review.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4612-CEWQGK on June 1, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit to Take Water No. 8001-8NULS4 for Wooden Sticks Golf Inc. Water will be taken from one well to irrigate a golf course in the Township of Uxbridge, Regional Municipality of Durham, Ontario. The new permit expires on May 31, 2032.

Application 58-C-229636 was approved subject to standard conditions on November 3, 2023. The last date to appeal the decision is November 23, 2023.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 2528-BNNL87 on April 20, 2020, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 4766-83DKXM, for ClubLink Corporation ULC located in Ottawa, Ontario. The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of April 23, 2030.

The instrument proposal was posted in error. The decision to issue this CPU will be made under 019-4653.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 3358-CHCR65 on August 23, 2022 for 537 Kingston Road East (Ajax) Holdings ULC. Water will be taken for construction dewatering purposes serving the proposed Ajax Shell Building property, located in the Town of Ajax, Ontario. The new permit expires on December 31, 2024.

This decision is to renew Permit to Take Water No. 7735-8C6L3V for commercial purposes. Water will be taken from one (1) pond and Moira River related to golf course irrigation activities, located in the City of Belleville, County of Hastings, Ontario. Permit No. P-300-1309973274 was issued on December 23, 2020 for a period of 10 years.

A provisional consent was granted subject to conditions on May 3, 2023. The last date to appeal the decision in May 23, 2023.

Certificate of Property Use (CPU) No. 3166-CN8RVC was issued to Toromont Industries Ltd. on May 23, 2023.

We approved a new Environmental Compliance Approval (waste transfer site) for Stericycle ULC for the use and operation of a waste transfer site, with a total area of 0.46 hectares, located at Unit 2-15825 Robins Hill Road, London, Ontario.

The ministry issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 4512-CCMNED to The Sarjeant Company Limited (Sarjeant) on June 15, 2022 and expiring on June 15, 2027. Water will be taken primarily for aggregate washing purposes in the Township of Tiny. The ministry has approved one out of the two sources applied for. Details regarding the taking are below.
