I object to this proposal. It is an employment area that employs me and 100's of my co-workers. The recent big box retail development has already caused congestion, added pollution, lost productivity and my biggest concern is for safety. Tractor Trailers that need to access warehouses and the 401 highway are stuck in bottle necks of traffic. Pedestrians and cars do not mix well with 18 wheel tractor trailers needing time and space to maneuver. Aside from this, the area is not well suited for residential, it is my opinion it would create an isolated pocket with Getto like conditions that is not supported by transit or green space.
