Thanks for taking comments on the process. I hunt in a group of 6 people all family. We don’t have a single tag this year. We wont be eligible for a bull tag for another 6! A cow for another 4 unless we use our pts that we are saving for a bull. Growing up if we didnt get a moose we didnt eat meat as we were poor. We used to be guaranteed a calf tag, and an adult tag every other year, and now nothing! The points system did not help local hunters as it was said to, in fact it made it far worse. Any changes to the system would be an improvement at this point, but really there should be a preference for anyone living within 250 km of their hunt zone, then open it up, and finally move forward with the proposed changes.
