This application is essentially a license to break the law. Algoma Steel and the steel plant have been in this game and breaking the law for decades. Labor law. Environmental law. International law. Anishinaabe law Inaakonigewin.
There is no excuse for a repeat offender. Stop your pollution asap. Stackwatch in ssm has been monitoring Algoma Steel's lack of progress and intransigence. I believe this company should pay the residents of Algoma reparations for contaminating the environment.
