It is wasteful and unproductive to cancel the existing efforts to control carbon emissions. We will make no significant progress if each new administration spends time and money reversing the efforts of the previous one before devising a scheme they can call their own. For the sake of the planet, please focus on improving the existing carbon market as well as introducing other mechanisms to bring down emissions. We don't have time to start all over from scratch.
