I am opposed to several of the new regs. in the proposed policy for bait management in Ontario.
Stiklebacks have been a go to bait for Speckle trout for many years now. I feel that in the north here a lot of these new policies are way over the top. We don't have enough C. O.'s now, so new rules are slowing down there ability to carry out there patrols. I disagree with the two week limit and need for a receipt, also. On privately harvested bait , which is quite common around here, the need for my own license or log book is infuriating. Please pay more heed to the Ontario Anglers and Hunters, as they pretty much share my views.
