We are in an environmental crisis time. Bill 4 only deals with the keeping of a political promise, not with the reality of climate change and needed action. It does nothing to encourage the greening of industry and the industry that can be built upon green alternatives. There needs to be immediate recognition of the cost of how we live now, and serious and immediate effective actions taken. Carbon pricing does that, even it it is used as a temporary measure until we see better options proposed. By all means show us a better plan that we can all support, but Bill 4 does not do this. Please do not pass Bill 4.
