The sacrificing of our only home for short-term gain foolhardy. Pollution pricing is the most important policy tool to support a long-term sustainable economy. Allowing major polluters to profit at the expense of the public is detrimental to all of us. Though the actions that lead to a clean economy may not be seen within an election cycle, it can be seen over generations. This bill's gutting of a credible plan for the future, is a gutting of future generations. Passing this bill may win over business of today, but the people of the future, the children of today, will see and live with it's consequences. They will view your legacy in shame.

I strongly oppose this bill, and its passing will further me to support those fighting for the future.
