As outlined in the recent report from the IPCC, we have a very limited window to halt the worst effects of climate change. We've already seen the damage caused by extreme weather events (exacerbated by climate change) this year: wildfires in BC, floods in Toronto, tornadoes in the National Capital Region.
If your government is going to cancel Cap and Trade and fight the federal carbon tax, what action are you actually planning to take on climate change? There had better be something good behind all the bluster and repeals of acts. Stop disappointing Ontarians and make meaningful change instead of rewinding positive changes made by previous governments.
