At this incredibly crucial time for our Earth, we must do everything in our power to deal with the degradation of the environment. Scientists and economists acknowledge that a cap and trade program is an extremely effective way of controlling pollution and enabling pollution-controlling programs. Look at the one billion dollars that cap and trade produced for Ontario programs for more efficient lighting in hospitals, etc., etc. To me that is win-win. We have to have the courage to stand up and say that cap and trade programs are the right thing to do.
