Why do we bother to have environmental legislation . Every time something comes up the Province wants no environment assessment. We are destroying rare and irreplaceable wet lands to suit the greed and avarice of a few developers. The same goes with farm land. Making money out urban sprawl and the destruction of unique eco systems is so obviously wrong ,and yet money over rides protection of our environment. Is the the 413 totally necessary? The provincial government has made so many blunders in the past , "selling" the 403 comes to mind immediately. The speedy destruction of Ontario place is another. People are loosing trust in their ability to protect our province and work for the betterment of Ontarians instead of developers.
