Hello

Your bait management Strategic plan is in adequate , try the disease free , government inspected bait or bait from the lake your fishing via minnow traps.

Way, Way , Way too late.....trying to stick a bandage on a serious injury , invasive species have been in our ecosystem , lakes and waterways for over 30 years. The species have adapted already and if every persons has to follow the same rules then it might be okay , but there are rules for certain peoples and other rules for other peoples which will not work !

The invasive species have a foothold and by doing this is taking the enjoyment away from anglers . Most everything that the Ministry initiates comes back to be more problematic , and this can be shown in many areas.

Why don't you concentrate on peoples that are doing serious damage to our fisheries , who have no limits , no size restrictions or respect for a venerable resource , netting and spearing spawning fish , selling fish from our stocked lakes ! ..... which will eliminate next years class which is more departmental to our fisheries than someone using a few minnows.

As long as they are certified bait minnows , disease free and not invasive then what is the problem. As a licenced fisherwoman this is very concerning and what liberties are you going to eliminate next for the average licenced Angler. If your going to put this kind of restriction on fishing then you need to make sure that all peoples are following these rules......... equality for all !!!!!!

Thank you

Jill
