This proposal is so painful to read. I'm the parent of a young child and it is proposals like this, these short-term, sacrifice the future for the present, proposals, that keep me up at night wondering if I made a mistake choosing to start a family. Climate change is the biggest and most terrible truth of the present and future. We need solutions that promote longer-term sustainable commuting and travel within the province. Invest in public transportation, and in systems and supports for alternative transportation like biking and carpooling.
