I am deeply, deeply concerned by the new government's proposal to repeal and wind down the province's climate-change mitigation legislation and plan. The *scientific* consensus on the dangers of anthropogenic climate change has been solidly established for decades. *Economists* and political scientists agree that carbon pricing, whether through a carbon tax or cap and trade, is an effective policy tool for reducing emissions. Why is our government asking the public to submit URLs rather upholding evidence-based policy?
My children and grandchildren will live with the legacy that our generation leaves them. This proposal will deliver damaged goods.
