I wish to understand and some questions about this Bait management. Would you be able to send me more information on how it works. I fish in long lake summer and Winter. I spend a-lot of time and money around this community. So taking away live bait from this lake would be a step backwards. I have been fishing this lake for over 15 years and I am very disappointer the Ministry of Natural Resources would think about this action if I understand correctly. The outcome for me would be no longer return to this area to fish. I do want to understand all the facts so please send me all the information so I can review.. I would also request the results of the study's completed to date within this area. Using common sense. If the local business traps the live bait on the lake or rivers feeding the lake that business should be able to sell that bait back to the anglers to be used on the lake in question. Invasive species would not enter the equation.
