As a grandparent, I am very concerned that the government is being short sighted when it comes to dealing with climate change. The latest report on climate change is only underscoring this reality.

We must make the hard choices now. The time for debating this is over. We have to step up and pay the price or allow the devastation to fall on the next generation.

Let us show leadership in this, and actually be remembered as a great generation like those who came before us, not the selfish, greedy baby boomers we have been all our lives.
