Cancelling Cap & Trade is one of the most short-sighted and poorly considered actions that this new government is trying to take.
My message is to whatever government staffer is assigned to review this comment. What you're doing is objectively harmful to the people of Ontario. I don't know if you've accepted this and you're sticking with this job anyway, or what lies you've told yourself, but if you stay in this job, you're a bad person. You're on the wrong side of history, and the best excuse you'll come up with is "we didn't know at the time." That'll be a lie.
Quit your job. Start doing something that helps people instead of something that harms them.
