Every day, I marvel at the beauty of our national parks system, and realize that I’m the past, politicians and policy makers had the foresight to set aside and protect large tracts of land for future generations. Today, we are faced with contemplating a decision to repeal an act that previous politicians put in place to help reduce emissions and protect the environment. Why? Could someone make a few more dollars today? And what will that leave for our kids; our grandkids; and future generations? Time to grow up and put an end to this nonsense. Leave the cap and trade act in place, and better yet, spend some time thinking about how we could strengthen our commitment to environmental protection.
