The policy changes this government is taking is going to be disastrous both economically and environmentally in the coming years. The short sighted and frankly spiteful actions of this new government seem to be in keeping with the current wave of no nothing conservatism in Canada and the states that has absolutely nothing to do with pragmatic planning of actual conservatism. The UN is citing “climate genocide” and here we are in Ontario dismantling established new economies (imperfect tho I’m sure they are) with no real plans to replace and no real willingness to even accept these existential challenges are real. It’s shameless and shameful. Any leader who doesn’t have a strong plan for climate change is ineligible to lead. Shame.
